Is Your Time Online Spent Wisely

We all have this problem, spending to much time surfing around instead of doing the work we should be doing. How much time do you think we waste checking this and checking that out? I don’t know about anyone else, but I get side tracked easily. I own several sites that I work full-time from home with and I try to manage my time, but that never seems to work out.

My day should consist of getting up and checking email for support tickets or any other important site related stuff. Then I would get Traffic Browser opened and open 13 traffic exchanges that I am going to surf. I usually make it to that point without to much of a problem. I usually try to surf one hundred sites in each of those 13 TE’s. It takes quite a bit of time to accomplish this. I have to get logged into each site, then spread credits around to each site I am advertising. Then add banner credits to banner, and text ad impressions to text ads. So while I am waiting on Traffic Browser to get those sites opened, I turn on my iMac and my MacBook Pro.

I work with three computers at my desk. I got a PC for Traffic Browser, my iMac for my web design and website editing. Then I have my MacBook for anything else. I think that is where I go wrong. I end up looking at stuff people send me and wasting a lot of time. I spend a good 12-14 hours online a day, sometimes 7 days a week. I like to create stuff for my sites and check out what other people are doing.

When I started working at home I had a set goal to be basically done by noon, so I could have some me time, before the wife and kid gets home. That has never happened. I usually now just take breaks to eat and watch 20-30 minutes of TV, then I’m back at my desk checking emails, advertising, and designing.

I think tomorrow I am going to try to set a rigid schedule and see if I can stick to it and for how long. But I think the problem is I like to surf. Both surfing TE’s and surfing other sites is addictive. I think though, if I could just concentrate surfing on just a handful of TE’s instead of 13-20 a day, I would get more done at those TE’s and would see better results. What do you think? Is it better to hit as many TE’s as you can or is it better to concentrate on just a few each day? Let me know. I’d like to hear what you guys think.

Oh, I am also thinking of opening up my live conference room online and letting anyone who wants to, come in and brainstorm about how we can improved our businesses.

What Kind of TE Surfer Are You?

There are two basics types of traffic exchange users, you got your penny clickers and you got your credit clickers. What kind of TE surfer are you? So what do I mean by penny clickers and credit clickers? Obviously, there is more to it than that, but this is what I see while watching over my traffic exchange “empire”. Funny I know, don’t laugh…

There are people who surf traffic exchanges and are excited about getting a penny or five cents for clicking 200-500 sites. To me that’s insane. It will take you 50 years to make $5. Hey, I am not against people clicking for some spare change, more power to them. But they would do so much better if they would focus their efforts to bringing in referrals. Their is so much more money when you refer someone to a program and they upgrade. Most sites pay a commission % when your referral upgrades or buys credits packages or buys a login ad, start page, and so on. Social Viral Profits pays its members 20% – 50% commissions depending on your membership level.

Then you got your credit clickers, people who are surfing for credits to advertise their business or affiliate links. I know people who surf thousands of sites and get a few hundred credits for their efforts. If you’re a free member it takes much more clicking to make any kind of difference. But if you’re an upgraded member you usually get a 1 for 1 exchange, which by my books is much better. Some sites, really a lot of site only give you .33 credits per click. So it takes you 3 clicks to almost get one full credit. I’ll be honest I don’t spend to much time on those sites. I’ll surf a bunch that give .50 per click before I’ll spend time on a site that only gives .33 per click.

There is a way to to level the playing field. Either find sites that give at least .50 per click or find the ones who give 1 credit per click. The other things you can do is upgrade. Upgrading will not only get you the 1 for 1 deal, but most TE’s also give you a percentage of your referrals clicks. Let me give you a true example.

There are about 5 sites I am upgraded on. I get 1 credit for one click. But I also get 5-20% of my referrals clicks. This adds up. On days I don’t get to surf, because I am usually working on my own traffic exchanges, I will go check my upgrades sites at the end of the day and even though I didn’t click a single site, I still managed to earn 200 – 250 credits. Now that is nice. I just assign my credits and come back the next day. Yes it costs me around $5 per month per site to be upgraded, but it is worth it.

Right now at Social Viral Profits gives its free members 5% of their referrals credits earned. SVP gives its upgraded members 20% of their referral credits earned. Simple math tells us if you have 5 referrals who surfs 500 sites a day, you’ll get 100 credits a day. 10 referrals surfing 500 sites a day will earn you 1000 credits a day. That’s a really good return on your efforts. Now if they upgrade you bring cash money into the mix.

Free members at SVP make 20% commissions and upgraded members earn 50% commissions. So if you refer someone to us and they buy a monthly subscription, you will earn a % of every monthly payment they make. It’s not really that hard to refer people to traffic exchanges, a lot of people use them. Just create a catchy splash page, which can be done at Ad Kreator, and place it on as many TE’s as you can. Use social media as well. It works.

Enough of that, I’ve got work to do. Today I am going to create step by step videos on how to use Social Viral Profits to build your business. Have a great day…

Welcome to

Thank you for stopping by! I used to have a blog here for a long time, then it got hacked several times over. So I decided to trash it and start over. I wanted to start it at the first of the year, but I just had a lot going on. I started my second traffic exchange, Social Viral Profits, which just launched a few days ago.

I work full-time online, most days I spend 18 hours a day online. Hard to believe, but it’s true. Just ask my wife. She is tired of me sitting down to eat and then going right back to my desk after I finish eating. She says I used to spend more time with her, which is true. But back then i didn’t own two traffic exchanges, fourĀ Amacon sites, several affiliate product sites, two text ad exchanges, and now this blog.

Hey, but I love what I do. I couldn’t spend 18 hours a day working for someone else, unless they were paying me an outrageous amount of money. I am going to use this site to help me keep track of what I am doing, such as what programs I am upgraded in, what works, what doesn’t and so on. You can keep up with me if you like. Just check back and see what i’m up to. I don’t mind.

If I am able to help someone while i’m at it, great.
